Comic-Con Los Angeles was an absolute blast! It had so many great photo ops, fantastic guests, amazing cosplays, and fun vendors! I walked away with a Nicolas Cage ”Mandy” Baseball Tee from Legion M; A badass Godzilla cap from FYE; and a Glow in the Dark Bigfoot tee from Story Spark! Not to mention some amazing artwork for the home by painter Kurtis Rykovich. Check out some photos from the event below:
Panels I went to were for ”Jay and Silent Bob Reboot” where director Kevin Smith and Jason Mewes revealed they are getting their hands cemented at the TCL theatre and the ”Zombieland: Double Tap” panel which featured directed Ruben Fletcher, actors Jesse Eisenberg, Zoey Deutch, and Rosario Dawson! Check out snippets from the panels below:
Despite going through three name changes over the past couple years, Comic-Con LA continues to thrive and flourish! It takes place every October at the Los Angeles Convention Center, across from The Staples Center! It’s definitely a convention you need to put on your ”must go” destination!
Finally, you might have noticed a little Joaquin Phoenix inspired Joker who appeared in a lot of the photos. His name is London and the son of friends of the Podcast/website Jesse and Ezz (VintageClash). They created an amazing recreation of Joker’s dance on the stairs while walking up to the con! Check out the video he made below and check out his other work here.
