The Cast Of Marvel’s The Eternals Evacuated After Bomb Scare

Scary news to report from the set of Marvel Studios The Eternals, the cast and crew had to be evacuated due to a bomb scare.

Per Page Six:

Angelina Jolie and Richard Madden had to be evacuated from the set of their new movie “The Eternals” when an unexploded bomb was found at the shooting location, according to a report.

The device was discovered on the Canary Island of Fuerteventura, sparking panic among the Marvel flick’s cast and crew, who were ordered to take cover, The Sun reported Monday.

“It was obviously terrifying,” an insider told the outlet. “Some of the biggest stars in the world were on set and nobody was taking any chances.”

It’s unclear where the device came from, but the Spanish island was used as a military base by the Nazis during World War II.

“The bomb could have been there for decades untouched, but who knows what might have happened if it was disturbed,” the insider said.

A bomb squad was called to remove the device.

The movie, which also stars Salma Hayek, Gemma Chan and Kit Harington, is set to come out in November 2020.
