Per Den of Geek:
Ordering 26 episodes of a no-holds-barred Harley Quinn animated series was a smooth move by DC Universe, and although season one has only just finished on the streaming service, the second block of that original order will arrive in the form of a 13-episode second season this April. We hate waiting, so we’re sending out some love to whoever decided we only needed a super short break from Harley and co!
The show was an instant hit with fans, a true representation of everything we love about Harley (now if only the films could get this right).
The series is written and executive produced by Justin Halpern, Patrick Schumacker, and Dean Lorey and follows the misadventures of Harley Quinn and her best friend and partner in crime, Poison Ivy, after leaving her ex-boyfriend Joker.
Actress Kaley Cuoco (the voice of Harley) and Lake Bell (the voice of Ivy) have fantastic chemistry and really pull together all the goofy and crude jokes that one can put into a 30 minute animated show.
I can’t wait for season 3 of Harley Quinn only on DC Universe!
