BREAKING : Sony moves the release of MORBIUS from July 31 to March 19, 2021.
GHOSTBUSTERS: AFTERLIFE gets pushed from July 10 to March 5, 2021 which was originally for UNCHARTED but the video game movie will now be released on Oct 8,2021.
Additionally, an UNTITLED SONY MARVEL UNIVERSE movie originally set to be released on Oct 8, 2021 is now TBD (to be determined).
Morbius is an upcoming American superhero film based on the Marvel Comicscharacter of the same name, produced by Columbia Pictures in association with Marveland distributed by Sony Pictures Releasing. It is intended to be the third film in Sony’s Marvel Universe. The film is directed by Daniel Espinosa from a script by Matt Sazama & Burk Sharpless and Art Marcum & Matt Holloway, and stars Jared Leto as Michael Morbius alongside Matt Smith, Adria Arjona, Jared Harris, Al Madrigal, and Tyrese Gibson. In the film, Morbius turns into a type of vampire after attempting to cure himself of a rare blood disease.
