She has been chosen! The newest hero to be introduced in CW’s Arrowverse is Star Girl! Check out the latest two new posters below.
The first poster shows off Star Girl and she is flanked by a younger take on the popular DC Comics superhero group, The Justice Society including members Wildcat, Doctor Midnite, Hour Man, and the giant robot, STRIPE.
The next poster is a single character poster featuring actress Brec Bassinger who portrays the titular title character.
The series follows High school sophomore Courtney Whitmore discovering a powerful cosmic staff, and after learning that her step-father Pat Dugan used to be a hero sidekick, becomes the inspiration for a new generation of superheroes.
Stargirl is scheduled to begin airing on DC Universe on May 18, 2020. The series was originally intended to begin airing on May 11, 2020. In November 2019, it was announced that The CW would broadcast each episode the day after it premieres on the streaming service, with each episode available to stream on The CW’s online platforms after its broadcast. It will start airing on The CW on May 19, 2020, at 8 pm.
