First Look: Peacock’s Sci-Fi Series, “Brave New World” Gets A Trailer

Check out the first trailer for Peacock’s Brave New World. Based on the book, the futuristic series stars Alden Ehrenreich (Solo: A Star Wars Story), Jessica Brown Findlay (Winter’s Tale) and features Demi Moore (Charlie’s Angels: Full Throttle) and imagines a genetically-engineered future where life is pain-free but meaningless — a society that prohibits monogamy, privacy, money, family, and history itself. The series is executive produced by David Wiener and Grant Morrison.

Brave New World is a 2020 American science fiction dystopian drama series set to premiere on the streaming service Peacock. It is an adaptation of the novel of the same name by Aldous Huxley.

Brave New World is a dystopian novel by English author Aldous Huxley, written in 1931 and published in 1932. Largely set in a futuristic World State, whose citizens are environmentally engineered into an intelligence-based social hierarchy, the novel anticipates huge scientific advancements in reproductive technologysleep-learningpsychological manipulation and classical conditioning that are combined to make a dystopian society which is challenged by only a single individual: the story’s protagonist.
