The Opening Scene From “The New Mutants” & Final Trailer Revealed At Comic-Con At Home

During The New Mutants panel at Comic Con At Home, the cast and director of the film revealed the opening scene of the film and a look at the final trailer! Check it out above now!

The opening footage of the film is mostly chaos, flashes of explosions and sound punctuated by the phrase “what is happening?“, which is about as on-brand as possible for the roll-out of New Mutants.

Disney today just took all of their films off the schedule for 2020 and future films such as the Avatar sequels and the next Star Wars trilogy. I would not be surprised if after all this Disney decides to release the film much like how Orion/MGM is releasing Bill & Ted 3. Partly in theatrical but mostly via VOD or Disney+.
