For fans of Orphan Black, we already know the amazing acting prowess of Tatiana Maslany. Now she is about to be exposed to the larger Marvel Cinematic Universe fan base as the Unstoppable She-Hulk!
Director Kat Coiro confirmed Thursday that Emmy winner Tatiana Maslany has been cast in the titular role of her 2022 She-Hulk series for Disney+.
The Canadian born 34-year-old will officially join the Marvel Cinematic Universe as She-Hulk, which was one of the last major characters to be co-created by the late Stan Lee. The series will tie directly into the Marvel films, leading the way for She-Hulk to possibly even join the Avengers.
The green-skinned superhero starts off as highly-skilled lawyer Jennifer Walters, who transforms after having a life-saving (yet gamma-irradiated) blood transfusion from her cousin Bruce Banner/Hulk. Like her cousin, whenever the meek and mild mannered Jennifer Walters gets emotional she loses all control and becomes the strongest woman in all of the MCU.
No release date has been set, but the series joins other Marvel series on Disney+ such as The Falcon and The Winter Soldier, WandaVision, Loki, and more.
