When the film “Cuties” dropped on Netflix it was met with a barrage of hate for its depiction of little girls wearing skimpy clothes and twerking. Now I assume if you are a pedophile this release must have been like an early Christmas present, but to the rest of society that is actually sane and isn’t twisted this was a gross piece of international trash that someone at Netflix thought would make for a great viewing experience.
Then came the radical left nuts attacking conservatives for accusing the film of misrepresentation and actually trying to sell the idea that the film is somehow empowering for women. Remember this when you vote this year. These people on the left said little girls in skimpy clothes twerking was “empowering.” Sickening. I don’t always agree with conservatives but on this subject I am fully on their side. No one who isn’t on the FBI watch list wants to see kids depicted like this.
Especially Texas, who is indicting Netflix in court.
Netflix has been indicted by a Tyler County, Texas grand jury in connection with its Cuties film.
According to the indictment cited by a number of local news stations, Netflix is accused of promoting “visual material which depicts the lewd exhibition of the genitals or pubic area of a clothed or partially clothed child who was younger than 18 years of age at the time the visual material was created, which appeals to the prurient interest in sex and has no serious literary, artistic, political, or scientific value…”
The indictment partially shared on social media by Texas congressman Matt Schaefer, was filed on Sept. 23.
“Netflix, Inc. indicted by grand jury in Tyler Co., Tx for promoting material in Cuties film which depicts lewd exhibition of pubic area of a clothed or partially clothed child who was younger than 18 yrs of age which appeals to the prurient interest in sex #Cuties #txlege,” Schaefer said in a tweet which included a picture of the front page of the indictment.
A Netflix spokesperson responded on Tuesday, saying the charge is “without merit.”
Said the spokesperson, “Cuties is a social commentary against the sexualization of young children. This charge is without merit and we stand by the film.”
I wonder if Netflix also stands by pedophiles as well. Hell, why don’t they come out next with a docu-series about how we should all feel sorry for pedophiles and accept them as normal people.
Either way, this film, it’s director, it’s fucking catering team and whoever else worked on it need to be held accountable. I didn’t even want to write about this film when it was the topic on many news sites but when I saw so called “journalists” actually trying to defend this enough was enough and I had to say something.
This film is trash and if you think it’s okay or empowering to see kids depicted as this you might want to seek serious help.
