When tragedy struck the band AC/DC with the passing of guitarist Malcom Young, the remaining member reunited after a long time at their friend and bandmate’s funeral. With the great news that singer Brian Johnson had been given an experimental drug that would allow him to sing and tour again, the stage was set for a massive reunion rock fans had been waiting for.
The band’s upcoming album, Power Up, features all four of the surviving members of the Back in Black incarnation, with Angus and Malcolm Young’s nephew, Stevie Young, officially taking over for his late uncle (Stevie has been performing with AC/DC since 2014).
AC/DC released “Shot in the Dark” earlier this month, announcing the song would appear on their 17th full-length album, Power Up, out November 13th. For the album, the band reunited with producer Brendan O’Brien, who helmed the group’s previous two efforts, 2008’s Black Ice and 2014’s Rock or Bust.
The music video for Shot in the Dark is directed by David Mallet and shows the band rocking out on a stage covered in the glare of red lights. Watch it above now.
