As NFL teams collide in conference championship games this weekend, fans will get a glimpse of another epic confrontation arriving this March. That’s right, the much delayed and highly anticipated Godzilla vs Kong is coming and we will be getting our first look trailer this Sunday! Ahead of the new trailer is poster (that at first glance looked like fan art) of the two behemoths squaring off. Kong, towering over a city landscape, and Godzilla’s spiked dorsal fins piercing the surface of the ocean.
The film is directed by Adam Wingard. A sequel to Godzilla: King of the Monsters and Kong: Skull Island, it is the fourth film in Legendary‘s MonsterVerse. The film is also the 36th film in the Godzilla franchise, the 12th film in the King Kong franchise, and the fourth Godzilla film to be completely produced by a Hollywood studio.[b] The film stars Alexander Skarsgård, Millie Bobby Brown, Rebecca Hall, Brian Tyree Henry, Shun Oguri, Eiza González, Jessica Henwick, Julian Dennison, Kyle Chandler, and Demián Bichir.
