Annnnd the fire sale continues over at WWE. Bray Wyatt had gone through a huge build up and transformation as the Fiend. However poor creative, bad booking, and the addition of Alexis Bliss as a demon possessed sidekick (that eventually turned on him) the character quickly overstayed its welcome. An idea that worked better on paper than in the ring. The Fiend was booked in high profile matches and even became WWE champion at one point.
Legends and superstars were fed to The Fiend to build up his character which now has fans baffled as to why WWE released him.
Wyatt signed a developmental contract with WWE in 2009 and had been part of the main roster since 2010. In addition to being a one-time WWE champion and two-time Universal champion, Wyatt held the Raw and SmackDown Tag Team championships.
WWE has parted ways with several big-name talents since WrestleMania 37 in April. Wyatt joined Braun Strowman, Aleister Black, Mickie James and The IIconics, among others.
