Disney has announced the full cast for its highly anticipated sequel to “Hocus Pocus.” And on Halloween no less. Last week we found out that Sam Richardson was the first new cast member of “Hocus Pocus 2”, today comes the news of a talented bunch of newcomers who will join him led by Emmy winners Tony Hale (“Veep”) and Hannah Waddingham (“Ted Lasso”). Other new cast members include Whitney Peak (“Chilling Adventures of Sabrina”), Lilia Buckingham, Belissa Escobedo (“The Baker and the Beauty”), Juju Brener, Froy Gutierrez (“Teen Wolf”), Taylor Henderson (“Earwig and the Witch”) and Nina Kitchen.
Doug Jones will reprise his role of Billy Butcherson along with the OG’s Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker, and Kathy Najimy, who are all coming back to reprise their iconic roles of the Sanderson sisters. The sequel will arrive next fall on Disney+ and will be directed by Anne Fletcher (“27 Dresses” and “The Proposal”) from a script by Jen D’Angelo (“Workaholics”).
