WWE took a knife to its already depleted roster and decided to gut it even further with today new round of releases.
The following names were released this evening – Karrion Kross, “B-Fab” Briana Brandy, Gran Metalik, Lince Dorado, Eva Marie, Keith Lee, Mia Yim, Nia Jax, and Harry Smith.
Furthermore, the following WWE NXT Superstars were also cut – Trey Baxter, Jessi Kamea, Jeet Rama, Zayda Ramier, Katrina Cortez,
As noted, WWE has also released Scarlett Boudreaux, Oney Lorcan, Franky Monet and Ember Moon.
Nia Jax had plenty of controversial incidentsduring her time in WWE, often involving other women being injured at her hands. She gained a reputation of being an unsafe worker.
Eva Marie returned to WWE earlier this year with her Eva-lution gimmick, but it went absolutely nowhere and her in Ring work never improved.
Keith Lee’s style in the ring clearly never appealed to Vince McMahon, who changed everything that was great about Lee in NXT and transformed him into a Bearcat, whatever that is.
So what the common denominator here? Vince. Maybe he has lost his mind and is surrounded with nothing but yes men who care more about money than putting out a good product.
It’s safe to say a majority of these wrestlers will no doubt find their way to AEW, Impact, or NJPW.
What do you think of these cuts?
