No one gets out clean. Season 4 Part 1 premieres on January 21, 2022.
The end is coming for Wendy and Marty Byrde. The fourth and final season of Ozark is approaching on Netflix, and a new trailer for Part 1 makes clear that the threats will come from every direction.
Threats are nothing new for the Byrdes, who by this point have stared down more cartels and mafias than could be expected from most families. But on Jan 21, when Part 1 drops, the couple is being challenged from within their family. That’s new.
According to the official synopsis for the fourth and final season of “Ozark”: “Marty and Wendy are rid of Helen and climb to the top of Navarro’s empire. They find another opportunity to get out of the Ozarks but some past sins won’t stay buried and the most dangerous threats come from blood.”
Season 3 found the MRC Television series — from showrunner Chris Mundy — scoring the series’ best reviews, particularly for Linney’s emotional turn. In addition, Julia Garner won her second consecutive Emmy for supporting actress in a drama series for the season.
In the tradition of Breaking Bad, The Sopranos, and The Shield you can expect the final season of Ozark to end in a spectacular and explosive way.
