HBO Max’s The Flight Attendant was one of the best new television shows to debut last year and this just added a big star.
Oscar nominee Sharon Stone has joined the cast of season 2 of “The Flight Attendant”, which will arrive in the spring. She will play Lisa Bowden the estranged mother of Kaley Cuoco’s Cassie Bowden. Season 2 will catch up with Cassie, now in Los Angeles where she is enjoying sobriety and spending her free hours assisting the CIA. Cassie is quickly swept back up into a new mystery when, while overseas on assignment, she witnesses a murder.
The series was created by Steve Yockey, who was a writer on “Supernatural”. Returning with Cuoco for Season 2 are Oscar nominee Rosie Perez, Zosia Mamet, Griffin Matthews, Deniz Akdeniz, T.R. Knight, Yasha Jackson (“Blue Bloods”), Alanna Ubach, Cheryl Hines, Shohreh Aghdashloo and Audrey Grace Marshall. New cast members for season 2 include Mo McRae (“Sons of Anarchy”), Callie Hernandez (“Alien: Covenant”) and J.J. Soria (“Gentefied”).
