First Poster Released For Disney+ “Obi-Wan Kenobi” Series

The First poster for the “Obi Wan Kenobi” series premiering on Disney+ on May 23rd. Emmy winner Ewan McGregor, Hayden Christensen, Joel Edgerton and Bonnie Piesse are returning from previous films. The new cast members includes Indira Varma (“Game of Thrones”), Moses Ingram (“The Queen’s Gambit”), Emmy nominee Kumail Nanjiani, Benny Safdie (“Good Time”), O’Shea Jackson Jr. (“Straight Outta Compton”), Rupert Friend (“Homeland”),Sung Kang (“The Fast and Furious” franchise), Emmy nominee Maya Erskine (“PEN15”), and Simone Kessell.
The series will be set 10 years after “Revenge of the Sith.” Ben is hanging out on Tatooine waiting for his moment. But some sort of encounter will bring him back to his old padawan.
Lucasfilm president Kathleen Kennedy has mentioned that the encounter has an epic scale.
The series will be directed by Deborah Chow (“The Mandalorian”), while Joby Harold (“Army of The Dead”) is writing the series. The series is currently in pre-production and due to shoot any day now.
Disney+ has been delivering the best Star Wars in years and has pleased fans in a way the sequel trilogy never could.
Obi-Wan Kenobi is set to debut on Disney+ on May 25th.
