Vampirella has been enjoying a resurgence in popularity. As one of the original bad girls drawn good, Vampirella has jumped from Warren Publishing to Harris Comics & now currently with Dynamite Comics who is home to The Boys, Red Sonja, Army of Darkness, and many more amazing characters.
The classic title Vampirella Strikes returns for the third time, reuniting with the man who kicked it off originally, Tom Sniegoski as he picks up the threads he started in the relaunch of Vengeance of Vampirella, and back all the way to 1992. It’s the perfect run for longtime fans of the character, but also a thrilling post-apocalyptic & noir procedural inspired romp for newcomers to jump right into!

The series will feature art by Jonathan Lau and see Vampi returning fifteen years after the events of Vengeance of Vampirella. In that series, she woke up after being dead for a quarter century to seek out revenge on Nyx. Now, Nyx is gone and the world is slowly recovering — although the mingling of nature and the supernatural leads to a new sense of balance. Humanity and countless races of monsters live alongside each other. But the uneasy peace is easily threatened. Vampirella, meanwhile, now works as an agent of the Danse Macabre, tackling the most complex and potentially violent cases in the streets of Sepulcher City.
The first issue will be supported with covers from the likes of Stephen Segovia, Junggeun Yoon, and Ben Caldwell and a cosplay cover featuring Rachel Hollon. The main cover is a painting by Lucio Parrillo, paying homage to the iconic piece by the late, great Michael Turner.
Vampirella Strikes #1 is set to debut in May.
