Composer Michael Giacchino To Score Marvel Studios’ Disney Plus Halloween Special

Oscar-winning composer Michael Giacchino will stay in the Disney family as he will direct Marvel’s Disney+ Halloween special that will in October of this year. Giacchino is best known for scoring “Ratatouille”, “Up”, many MCU films and the upcoming “The Batman”. The special is expected to be based on the “Werewolf By Night” comic book series that has been a mainstay in the Marvel Universe for decades and it will star Golden Globe winner Gael García Bernal and Laura Donnelly (“The Nevers”, “Outlander”).
“Werewolf By Night” is a series about a character that has the ability to turn back and forth between a human and a werewolf, while also keeping his own intelligence along the way. It the special is in fact based on “Werewolf By Night”, Donnelly could potentially be playing Nina Price, who becomes Vampire by Night. Price is the niece of the character Jack Russell/Werewolf by Night and a vampire/werewolf hybrid. She carried the lycan gene and was changed further after being bitten by a vampire.
