The long delayed Spider-Man spin-off film, Morbius, debuted its final trailer Monday morning.
One of the most compelling and conflicted characters in Sony Pictures Universe of Marvel Characters comes to the big screen as Oscar® winner Jared Leto transforms into the enigmatic antihero Michael Morbius. Dangerously ill with a rare blood disorder and determined to save others suffering his same fate, Dr. Morbius attempts a desperate gamble. While at first it seems to be a radical success, a darkness inside him is unleashed. Will good override evil – or will Morbius succumb to his mysterious new urges?
Morbius has struggled to find its way into theaters due to the pandemic. The film was supposed to have come out before Spider-Man No Way Home and Venom Let There Be Carnage.
Like Wonder Woman 1984 or The New Mutants the film has been plagued with multiple release dates and even more delays. But with the worst days of the pandemic seemingly behind us, it looks like April will finally see Marvel’s bat-man fly into theaters.
