Mike Myers Returns In Netflix’s Illuminati-Comedic Netflix Series, “The Pentaverate”

Mike Myers is back baby! The teaser for Netflix’s comedy series “The Pentaverate”, arriving on May 5th. This is a project I’ve been waiting for for two years since I’ve really missed Mike Myers on the screen. In this series, he is going to play 7 characters and this is the supporting cast that he will be acting opposite of, Ken Jeong, Emmy winner Keegan-Michael Key, Debi Mazar (“Entourage”), Richard McCabe (“Notting Hill”), Jennifer Saunders (“Absolutely Fabulous”), and Lydia West (“It’s A Sin”). The 6 part series was created by Myers and was directed by Tim Kirkby (“Veep”, “Fleabag”).
The series asks “What if a secret society of five men has been working to influence world events for the greater good since the Black Plague of 1347?” As the series begins, one unlikely Canadian journalist finds himself embroiled in a mission to uncover the truth and just possibly save the world himself. Remember, the Pentaverate must never be exposed!
These are the descriptions for the 7 characters Myers will portray:
*Ken Scarborough: An old-school Canadian news journalist who sets out to expose the Pentaverate and win his job back.
*Anthony Lansdowne: A New England conspiracy theorist, determined to expose the Pentaverate
*Rex Smith: A far-right radio host and highly prominent conspiracy theorist
*Lord Lordington: The Pentaverate’s oldest and highest-ranking member.
*Bruce Baldwin: Former media mogul
*Mishu Ivanov: Ex-Russian oligarch
*Shep Gordon: Former Rock-N-Roll manager
*Jason Eccleston: A tech genius who invented the Pentaverate’s super computer.
