Let me be clear when I say this. I support the LGBTQA + community, I do not however agree with all their stances or political views. If that makes me a bigot in some people’s eyes so be it. But I still remember an American when people were allowed to have different opinions without hating each other or trying to cancel each other.
With that said, Florida Republicans on Tuesday passed a parental rights bill that progressives have claimed is anti-LGBTQ.
But absent from much of the discussion around the bill are the actual contents of the proposed legislation.
The bill, officially named Parental Rights in Education, bans school employees or third parties from giving classroom instruction on “sexual orientation” or “gender identity” in kindergarten through third grade. As it SHOULD BE.
Children in these age ranges lack the understanding and complexities that come with sexual orientation and gender identity. If a kid at this age knows what non-binary means and doesn’t know fractions yet, that’s a problem. Big decisions like this aren’t meant to be made at such a young age. Even introducing it to them at that time could be harmful to their development and bring about disastrous consequences.
So it isn’t about “not saying gay” it’s about teaching them this alternative lifestyle when they are mature enough to understand it. People who actually took the time to read this instead of tweeting hashtags about it would know better.
So of course the lowest common denominator, woke culture/social justice warriors bullied Disney into falling in line with their agenda after head honcho, Bob Chapek, said Disney prefers to remain neutral when it comes to matters like this. Disney who donates to both political parties isn’t something the woke employees approve of at Disney. They even staged walkouts both in person and virtual oh and sent a list of demands via Twitter:
So after a barrage of tweets and of course the media and Hollywood bully tactics, Disney sent this tweet out today:
But of course if you give a mouse a cookie it’s gonna want a glass of milk.
Pixar is set to debut its first same-sex kiss in the upcoming film Lightyear. The film, which stars Chris Evans as the real-life hero that inspired Toy Storycharacter Buzz Lightyear, will feature a lesbian character named Hawthorne, voiced by Uzo Aduba. Hawthorne is in a relationship with another woman, and while said relationship was hinted in the film, a planned kiss was cut. Hawthorne will be Pixar’s second openly queer character, following Onward‘s Officer Spector (Lena Waithe), who briefly references her wife in the film.
