Director Adam Wingard won the hearts of Warner Bros higher ups when he delivered Godzilla vs Kong. The film was a colossal box office success that brought together the world’s two most famous cinematic monsters in a knock down drag out fight. The film succeeded despite debuting in theaters at the height of the COVID pandemic. Now Wingard is coming back not for a stand-alone Kong or Godzilla film, he is giving us Godzilla vs Kong 2. Now it’s not known if the two monsters will come to blows again or be put into a situation where they have to team up once more.
Actor Dan Stevens (Beauty & the Beast; Legion) has joined the cast of the film and is said to be playing a major character in the film.
No release date has been set for the film.
