“Black Mirror” Season 6 has been green-lit by Netflix

This generation’s Twilight Zone, Black Mirror, has shocked, enthralled, and captivated audiences with it’s no holds barred cautionary tales for several seasons. In fact you can’t convince us that the last 2 years hasn’t been an ongoing, real life episode of the anthology series with all the horrendous things that continue to happen to society on the basis of “progress.”
Now we finally have word when we might be able to see more episodes of the groundbreaking series.
Variety reports that Netflix has greenlit Black Mirror and is currently in pre-production for its sixth series — the details for which are largely being kept quiet. Unlike the interactive Black Mirror: Bandersnatch and fifth series that came before it, Black Mirror’s anthological sixth series is reported to consist of more episodes and be more “cinematic in scope,” which is likely a sign of the show taking even bigger swings. There’s currently no word on when Black Mirror’s sixth season is set to begin production.
