Amazon’s The Boys has been doing some entertaining advertising campaigns on youtube to promote its upcoming season 3 arriving this June. On the Vought International page they have the Vought+ news network that updates fans on all the happenings in the universe of The Boys. Recently in season 2, production on a Seven film (this comic universe’s super team) was in the process of being filmed. Poking fun at Marvel Studios for its virtue signaling and DC Comics films for their dark and gloomy presentation, the film now has a trailer. Check it out above.
Coming June 3. When darkness descends on the world, and it seems all hope is lost, seven heroes will rise. Seven who will stand. Seven who will fight. Seven who will restore light and hope, and see the sun rise on a new era.
This is the true story of the greatest superhero team the world has ever known. This is the Dawn of The Seven.
Its over the top, goofy, and if you know the heroes of the Seven you know they might be super beings, but they are the farthest thing from being super heroes.
Based on the comic book of the same name by Garth Ennis and Darick Robertson, which was originally published by DC Comics under its Wildstorm imprint before moving to Dynamite Entertainment, it follows the eponymous team of vigilantes as they combat superpowered individuals who abuse their abilities. The series stars an ensemble cast that includes Karl Urban, Jack Quaid, Laz Alonso, Tomer Capon, and Karen Fukuhara as the vigilantes and Antony Starr, Erin Moriarty, Dominique McElligott, Chace Crawford, Jessie T. Usher, and Nathan Mitchell as members of “the Seven”, an official superhero group run by the conglomerate Vought International who, while maintaining a lofty façade, are shallow celebrity figures prone to doing horrendous things in secret.
