We are getting more Star Wars news than you can shake a lightsaber at today and the rest of this weekend thanks to the Star Wars Celebration Convention going on in Anaheim.
We already got sneak peeks at Indy, Andor, and Willow, now onto to Ahsoka & Mandalorian Season 3 news!
Disney announced at Star WarsCelebration that The Mandalorian’s third season will debut in February 2023 on Disney Plus.
At Star Wars Celebration, executive producer Jon Favreau announced that Mando will finally be headed to Mandalore, the home planet of the Mandalorians, in search for forgiveness. Favreau also shared that fans should expect to see some familiar faces in the new season, with Carl Weathers and Katee Sackhoff returning to play Greef Karga and Bo-Katan Kryze, respectively.
We don’t have access to the footage since it was a SWC exclusive but we do have a few tidbits about the teaser:

Also arriving in 2023 is Ahsoka Tano with Rosario Dawson returning to reprise the role of the popular Clone Wars character. Dawson was not able to attend SWC because she was in the midst of shooting the Ahsoka series.
Dave Filoni co-created the character with George Lucas. She went on to appear in Star Wars Rebels before making her live-action debut in season two of The Mandalorian. And now, she’ll star in her own show. As we learned in The Mandalorian, Ahsoka is searching for Grand Admiral Thrawn. The blue skinned Imperial villain seemingly disappeared with the young Force user Ezra Bridger in the Star Wars Rebels finale.
The Star Wars panel also confirmed to us that the show takes place in the same time period as The Mandalorian, The Book of Boba Fett, and the upcoming Jon Watts Star Wars series Star Wars: Skeleton Crew. The panel did not address ongoing rumors that Hayden Christensen would appear in Ahsoka, nor did it address Ewan McGregor’s recent confirmation that Mary Elizabeth Winstead would also star in the series.
