The surprise hit series, “All of us are Dead” the South Korean teen/zombie series is coming back for a season 2!
It was officially announced on Monday as part of Netflix’s Geeked Week event.
Netflix also released a wild teaser for Warrior Nun‘s first episodes in… well, a while.
All of Us Are Dead‘s freshman season, released back in January, followed a group of students who were trapped in a high school and found themselves in dire situations as they sought to be rescued from a zombie invasion.
After its premiere, All of Us Are Dead shot straight into the Top 10 most watched non-English TV series in 91 countries, and stayed there for two consecutive weeks. It also amassed 361 million viewing hours in its first 10 days.
The show was a well written and directed series adding some horrifying new lore to the zombie mythos and delivered a tense and fast paced show with emotion that just hit the mark for horror fans.
The director of the series previously stated that they do have plans for a second season. He told HypeBeast KR (translated using Google Translate):
“The story itself was set with season 2 in mind, so if season 2 comes out, it might be a little more interesting and expanded story.” He also left a hint about the content of Season 2, saying, “If Season 1 was a survival period for humans, there is a sense of humor, but Season 2 feels like it will be a survival period for zombies.”
