The Warrior Nun Season 2 teaser, which you can check out above, features the aftermath following the team’s first encounter with the evil Adriel. It highlights a more action-packed season, with Ava finally mastering her gifts as the halo bearer. The second season is set to debut this Winter with 10 episodes.
Based on Warrior Nun Areala, a comic-book character created by artist Ben Dunn back in 1993, the series didn’t come to Netflix until July two years ago–though it was quickly renewed for Season 2. Created and adapted by Simon Barry (Val Helsing, Ghost Wars), the show’s centerpieces are religious figures engaged in epic battles and an orphaned teenager shouldering the unimaginable.
The series stars include Alba Baptista in her English-language debut, Thekla Reuten (Lost), Tristán Ulloa (Narcos), Toya Turner (Empire), Kristina Tonteri-Young (Outside the Wire), and Lorena Andrea (Infamous Six).
