Robert Rodriguez Reveals Cast Of His “Spy Kids”Reboot

Zachary Levi and Golden Globe winner Gina Rodriguez will play the leads in Netflix’s “Spy Kids” reboot, while Everly Carganilla (“The Afterparty”) and Connor Esterson will play their children. Franchise creator Robert Rodriguez will once again write and direct the fifth installment in the franchise.
This latest chapter is set after the children of the world’s greatest secret agents unwittingly help a powerful game developer unleash a computer virus that gives him control of all technology, leading them to become spies themselves to save their parents and the world.
The original Spy Kids spawns several sequels and was a pretty popular franchise amongst young families. Rodriguez is coming hot off his Boba Fett series he did for Disney+ earlier this year.
