Kevin Smith Is Back With “Clerks 3”

Following a massive heart attack, Randal enlists his friends and fellow clerks Dante, Elias, Jay, and Silent Bob to make a movie immortalizing his life at the convenience store that started it all. “Clerks III” stars Brian O’Halloran, Jeff Anderson, Trevor Fehrman, Austin Zajur, Jason Mewes, Marilyn Ghigliotti, Rosario Dawson, and Kevin Smith.

Kevin Smith used to be known for creating smart, witty, and dare say even though provoking scripts back in the day. But over the past few years he’s kind of slumped into b-movie fare and his films have gotten progressively worse. Despite that, seeing as to how the plot of this film mirrors Smith’s own brush with death I think Smith is going to deliver his best work in years because of how closely tied his life is to it. He finally has something to say again…even if it’s wedged between geek references and dick jokes.
